Charlotte Addy recently joined the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, MitoCamb research group as a Junior Clinical Research Coordinator. She graduated with a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Warwick (UoW) in 2024. At UoW she worked on a research project investigating views on newborn genetic screening for the neuromuscular disorder, Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She also worked on a research project, within the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics at the University of Reading, to improve understanding of pain in breast cancer patients. Within the MitoCamb team, Charlotte is responsible for recruiting participants to research studies, and collecting clinical data and samples.
