Xuehao Cui is a Clinical Research Fellow in the Cambridge Eye Unit, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and a PhD student in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences.
His PhD is supported by the Cambridge international scholarship which is provided by the Chinese scholarship council (CSC) and the Cambridge Trust (CT).
Xuehao is also a registered ophthalmologist in China focusing on retina diseases and optic neuropathies. He obtained his medical degree from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015 and then completed his clinical training in ophthalmology in Xinhua hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2018.
His research focuses on the basic research and clinical trials of optic neuropathies like LHON, DOA and Wolfram Syndrome.
